ChartWall is built around card selection, layout control, common timeframes, and automatic refresh.
The dashboard lets users choose visible cards, arrange them freely, apply a shared timeframe, and keep their own layout stored in the browser.
Top bar controls
- VIX: opens a VIX chart in a new tab.
- Info: opens the in-page help and summary panel.
- Select charts: lets users decide which cards stay visible.
- Language: changes the interface language.
- Interval: applies one shared timeframe to all visible cards.
- Auto refresh: turns the refresh cycle on or off.
- Reset layout: restores the default card arrangement.
How refresh works
Auto refresh is enabled by default. Cards refresh on slightly different schedules instead of all reloading at the exact same time. In the current build, the refresh cadence is roughly every 12 to 16 seconds with staggered timing so the full wall feels more stable during long monitoring sessions.
How to move and resize cards
- Drag a card by its header to move it to a new position.
- Resize a card from the bottom-right corner.
- Release the mouse to save the new size and position.
- Use Reset layout if the wall becomes too crowded or difficult to manage.
What gets saved
ChartWall stores visible cards, chosen symbols, card positions, card sizes, language, interval, and auto-refresh status in the browser. When the same browser opens the page again, the previous setup can be restored automatically.
